For example, we’ve developed and implemented several measures to help advance engineering programs in partnership with HBCUs and Keysight is proud to be a founding industrial sponsor of the Inclusive Engineering Consortium5 .These methods impact across the university ecosystem from students entering the program to graduating and being ready for success in industry. Our efforts include generating interest at grade and high school levels to get students excited about science, engineering, and technology careers, assisting in infrastructure, including laboratories, increasing visibility on university campuses through guest seminars, and giving grants and scholarships to advance engineering education and research.

Our ERGs include Asian Professionals for Excellence (APEX), Hispanic/Latino Organizations for Leadership & Advancement (HOLA), L3Harris Employees of African Descent (LEAD), and Women Who Strive for Empowering, Enhancing, and Encouraging Other Women (WE3).

In 2020, L3Harris published its first Diversity and Inclusion Annual Report to show our progress toward creating a diverse and inclusive culture. The report details our current representation, shares our plans for creating a more inclusive workplace, and outlines our activities in the communities in which we live. 

While we are pleased with the progress we have made, we continue to set higher goals and expectations for our company because our commitment is not just for a moment. It is what will help us ensure that every employee has a consistently positive experience throughout their career at L3Harris now and in the future.
