IEC educational forums are among the most respected in our industry-known for being comprehensive and completely objective. Each year, the IEC presents more than 15 educational conferences serving more than 10,000 industry professionals.
These forums range in scope and size from the broadly based IEC Communications Forums @ SUPERCOMM to specialized forums on broadband, IP networks, operational support systems, optical, broadband wireless systems, and communications design engineering.
Research is performed by the IEC in conjunction with leading academics and other subject-matter experts in the information industry. These authoritative studies help industry professionals in their decision-making responsibilities through the conclusions and recommendations offered.
Numerous committees, chairpersons, and speakers are involved in IEC programs. Every year, more than 2,500 speakers-primarily from industry-provide insights at IEC forums. Educational program planning committees for these forums have a membership of more than 500 industry professionals.
The IEC has a long tradition of executive support and involvement. The IEC Executive Council has more than 1,500 members worldwide.
