From measured data, it can be shown that traditional materials attenuate the signal more than the exotic laminates at high rates. At 12 Gbps, the exotics offered more than a 15 percent improvement in eye opening (see Figures 8 and 11). And at the 50 percent power point, they offered more than 2 GHz in additional bandwidth.
