You lead the nm2 project (New Media, New Millennium), which is partly funded by the EU. Please tell us a little bit more about how this cutting-edge technology works. How would you like to see it evolve over the next year?
You work for BT's Group Chief Technology Office as a project director in the Broadband Applications Research Centre. For the last six years, you have taken a special interest in the emergence of convergent forms of media and have excellent relationships with the media and production industry. Why is it critical for the media and production industry to take interest in ShapeShifted TV, innovations involved with convergence, and projects such as nm2?
You spoke in a plenary panel entitled, "New Media: New Millennium — The Emergence of Convergent Media." Expand on what you shared with attendees.
