Fujitsu Next Generation VDSL2 Line Card
Product Category: Broadband Ecosystem Evolution
Fujitsu enhances its MSAN portfolio with a new-generation VDSL2 Line Card. Targeting NGA applications and Fibre-to-the-Cabinet deployments, its 64 ports-per-card density is the highest currently available.
Fujitsu is introducing two variants, addressing different customer requirements:
- IS-LCSS64 V - Data-only, with integrated POTS splitter
- IV-LCSS64 V - Integrated Voice and Data
The IV-LCSS64 V is the first to integrate both 64 VDSL2 and 64 baseband POTS capability in a single compact unit, providing a true NGN voice solution that enables retirement of traditional PSTN equipment.
Fujitsu's unique distributed MSAN architecture minimises electronics in the cabinet, and allows re-use of existing Fujitsu line cards to provide complete Broadband, POTS, ISDN PRI and ISDN BRA service solutions from the cabinet.
Fujitsu Unified Communications
Product Category: Enterprise
Fujitsu's comprehensive Unified Communications (UC) technology suite improves business efficiency while significantly enhancing communications practice. It links with voice services, and provides individual or group voicemail, email integration including Microsoft Outlook, plus SMS and collaborative access facilities.
A desktop GUI enables overall UC suite management - from phone settings and preferences, to auto-attendant, music-on-hold and call-conferencing capabilities. Fujitsu's UC suite includes an Incoming Call Manager, with desktop search-and-dial pop-ups, provides deskphone association with a Centrex-featured soft client, and incorporates a desktop attendant console for larger enterprises. It also offers mobility enablement via SimRing facilities. Fujitsu supplies a SDK that enhances UC as SaaS, with web gadget and mashup facilities, enabling applications to be built and integrated down to the user level.
Fujitsu Managed Wavelength Service
