Industrial Revolution 2.0 — Are Service Delivery Platforms the New Production Lines?
Workshop 5
Service providers are focused on growth strategy. How does their drive to mitigate development and delivery risks, as well as integrate and speed new services to market, fit with the drive to maximize limited resources while increasing the impact of service innovation?
New players such as Google, Microsoft, Apple, and Yahoo are entering the digital ecosystem and disrupting the business models of traditional service providers. With the drive for reduction and predictability of capital and operational costs, pressure on streamlining and industrializing service delivery platforms moves up a notch.
This workshop explores perspectives on the next steps for service delivery platforms through the eyes of different ecosystem players.
