The Digital Communications Knowledge Transfer Network (DC-KTN) is a new initiative established by the Technology Strategy Board and industry-led group of major players in telecommunications, broadcasting and IT. Its objective is to take the lead in developing and directing activities aimed at the exchange of knowledge on emerging digital communications technologies between academia and industry. The activity will bring together government agencies, universities, research organisations, and businesses. A networking lunch will immediately follow the talk and will provide an excellent opportunity to find out more about the IET and the KTN initiative.
