Ms. Mendler spearheads global business development and research initiatives in enterprise communications. She has led a number of international assignments for private and public sector clients in areas such as market entry, competitive analysis, and partnering strategies. Ms. Mendler is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and has been a commentator on technology matters for the BBC, CNBC, CNN, Telecom TV, and others. Before joining Yankee Group, Ms. Mendler held business development and marketing roles in European telecom companies. She is also a research fellow of the Russian Area Studies Master's Program at Georgetown University. Ms. Mendler has a bachelor's degree in journalism from Northwestern University in Illinois.

Mr. Gage was one of the founders of Sun, in 1982, when a group of students and professors from Stanford and the University of California, Berkeley joined to create open systems in hardware and software. He has served on the Boards of Trustees of the United States National Library of Medicine, FermiLabs, the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute, NetDay, Schools OnLine, United States National Research Council, the Internet Society (ISOC), and other scientific and educational groups. He serves on the Markle Foundation Task Force on National Security, the Board of Advisors of the United States Institute of Peace, the National Academy of Sciences, and the International Advisory Board of the Malaysian Multimedia Corridor. He attended the University of California, Berkeley, Harvard Business School, and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.

Mr. Beal previously led the program to develop, plan, and implement BT's multibillion-pound 21st Century Network transformation. Prior to joining BT in 2003, Mr. Beal was chief network architect for WilTel Communications, where he focused on network innovation, evolution, and efficiency. Prior to WilTel, Mr. Beal led next-generation communications initiatives at carriers, including Telecom Italia, I-Link Communications, Nexbell Communications, and Concentric Networks. These initiatives included the successful launches of VoIP, unified messaging, IP-VPN, and other IP and multimedia services. Mr. Beal's academic background includes graduate and undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis in computing and multimedia communications.
