Multi-Service; Unified, Packet-Based Transport
G1

During the transformation to all-IP, operators are eager to build a future-proof unified transport network to cut down the potential risk of technology and save CAPEX and OPEX. Such a unified transport network should be packet-based and TCO-effective and feature high-OAM ability and protection just like traditional SDH/SONET, support legacy services, etc. Thanks to the accumulation and persistent improvement in packet transport technology, a carrier-class, multiservice, packet-based transport platform is available now.
