        Should students and professors attend as well?
        Yes. The IEC realizes the importance of bridging academia and industry and has established a University Grant Program, funded by IEC Corporate Members, providing students and professors the opportunity to attend the entire educational program. Students and professors are asked to complete a final report in lieu of conference tuition. Academic Registration

        Is there an attendee age restriction?
        To access the exhibit floor, you must be 18 years of age and older.

        What is SOFNET 08?
        The four-day conference and exhibition places special emphasis on the interaction of the key constituencies that are shaping the future of information and communication technology. Uniting software with hardware, SOFNET explores the "softelco" transition plans and how the Web 2.0 world and traditional telcos will work together. In addition to the educational programming, the technology exhibition will feature demonstrations from leading software and hardware vendors and developers, as well as IP equipment suppliers and innovators, providing an ideal opportunity to discuss new advancements and technology with key industry players.

        From M1/A1/M11/A10 take A406 westbound to A4. Continue on A4 over Hammersmith Flyover, turn left onto the B317 (North End Road), and follow signs.

        From M4/A4 take A406 westbound to A4. Continue on A4 over Hammersmith Flyover, turn left onto the B317 (North End Road), and follow signs.

        From A3/M3 follow signs for central London, take Wandsworth or Putney Bridges.

        From Wandsworth Bridge, turn left onto New Kings Road, turn right onto Fulham High Street (becomes Fulham Palace Road at Hammersmith roundabout), turn right onto Hammersmith Road, and follow signs. From Putney Bridge, turn left onto Fulham Palace Road, turn right onto Hammersmith Road, and follow signs.

        From M2/M20/A2 follow signs to central London, take Blackfriars, London, Waterloo, Vauxhall, Southwark, Chelsea, or Battersea Bridges, turn left along Embankment, and follow signs.

        From A12/A13 follow signs for central London toward Tower of London Bridge. Do not cross bridge; instead, continue along Embankment and follow signs.
