How to Maintain Revenues on an All-IP Platform
E4

Customers' need for IP-based broadband services is obvious. However the need for traditional services is still very high and will remain high in the future. Legacy services need to be maintained, as the legacy customers are the cash cows of the network operators, but IP-based networks are the future. From an economic point of view, offering both services from one platform is the only option.

For finding the balance between broadband services, legacy services, and tackling costs, each network operator has different possibilities for infrastructure. The session will cover these possibilities from the perspective of a consultant, an ILEC, a CLEC, and a supplier.
