The Next Phase of Collaborative Communications – Integration Everywhere
Tuesday, 18 November | 16:00 – 17:30
The next revolution in communications is well under way. It is not a new technology, but rather the integration of different silos of communication and collaboration technologies into a single, transparent user experience accessible from familiar telephony devices and workgroup applications.

By combining voice, video, and Web communication; instant messaging; and presence detection for people and devices, users have the most powerful communication and collaboration capabilities to date.

This session will discuss the vision behind this emerging trend, examine the integration work already under way from major telecommunications and workgroup application companies, and explore how these next-generation solutions will drive greater productivity in the workplace.

Panelists will also discuss the impact of this kind of services integration on the converged wireline/wireless network and the enabling technologies required.
