Michael Cooper (Chairperson)

Mr. Cooper is responsible for marketing the convergence portfolio in the North American region. He also plays a global role in ensuring consistency across the other three regions. During his more than 30-year career with Alcatel-Lucent, Lucent, AT&T, and Bell Labs, he has held a wide range of positions. Mr. Cooper has two patents and holds a B.S. in biomedical engineering and M.S. in computer science from Northwestern University.

Graham Ellis (Chairperson)

Mr. Ellis is responsible for customer solutions in emerging technologies for Nokia Siemens Networks in North America, with a focus on converged TV. He is a 30-year veteran of the telecommunications industry with experience in both wireless and fixed networks in North America and the Asia-Pacific. Mr. Ellis previously worked at Nokia in New Zealand and held marketing and product management positions in broadband access. He holds a Certificate in telecommunications engineering from Waikato Polytechnic and a Certificate in management from Victoria University.

Jim Farmer (Chairperson)

Mr. Farmer previously held executive positions with ANTEC, ESP, and Scientific-Atlanta. He holds approximately 80 patents related to cable TV systems. His honors include the 1996 NCTA Vanguard Award in Technology, the Society of Cable Television Engineers (SCTE) Hall of Fame in 1997, and Cable Pioneers in 1998. Formerly the president of the IEEE Consumer Electronics Society and current editor of its newsletter, Mr. Farmer also serves on a number of program committees and engineering committees.

Seamus Hourihan (Chairperson)

Mr. Hourihan brings more than 25 years of experience to Acme Packet in executive management, marketing, product management, and business development roles at voice over IP, IP networking, Web infrastructure, and computer companies. He was vice president of marketing for internetworking leader Wellfleet. More recently, Mr. Hourihan was vice president of marketing for Pingtel. He also held management positions at Data General, MASSCOMP, and Bright Tiger and has operated his own consulting company. He holds an A.B. degree from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from Babson College.

Prior to China Mobile, Mr. Huang was senior vice president and CTO of UTStarcom, Inc. He has in-depth experience in the areas of next-generation mobile switching systems, IP media streaming, GEPON systems, multi-service softswitches, and operation support systems, as well as value-added services. Mr. Huang has been a new technology advocate for the telecom industry. His knowledge base is built on more than 21 years of experience in the development of key communication technologies. Mr. Huang holds a M.S. in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of Illinois.

Angelo Morelli (Chairperson)

Mr. Morelli has more than a decade of experience helping communications service providers achieve high performance. He is particularly focused on helping both wireless and wireline operators simplify their network architectures and technologies to achieve greater flexibility and cost-efficiency. In the network service line, Mr. Morelli is the global lead for the Accenture Service Delivery Platform Solution, an industry-leading offering that is helping service providers create, deploy, and profit from new value-added services more rapidly and cost-effectively.

Dan Parsons (Chairperson)

Mr. Parsons has more than 23 years of experience in telecommunications and was an earlier adopter in the development of C and DWDM transport products in 1992. In 2000 he initiated AFC's (now Tellabs) FTTP efforts and brought to market the industry's first hardened CWDM ROADM. Mr. Parsons has held engineering, marketing, and business development roles throughout his career and has been in the semiconductor industry for the past four years. He received his P.Eng in Ottawa, Canada, and has written numerous industry papers and two patent applications in optical networking.

Kim Perdikou (Chairperson)

Ms. Perdikou joined Juniper Networks in August 2000. She is responsible for driving IPG's strategy, innovation, and product development and also serves as general manager of the service provider business team, a cross-functional unit comprising product development, marketing, sales, support, and business operations. This unit is tasked with the development of the business strategy and integrated plans to drive all elements of success for the service provider market segment.

Tony Roug (Chairperson)

Mr. Roug is responsible for end-user requirements and platform definition in the Digital Enterprise Group. He is currently leading Intel's IP services strategic planning and architecture. Mr. Roug's current focus is on the video over the Internet, IPTV, and VoIP/IMS usage models. He previously served as the director of advanced network services for Dialogic. Mr. Roug holds an M.S. degree in computer engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.S. degree in computer engineering from Iowa State University.

Timon Sloane (Chairperson)

Mr. Sloane has more than 23 years of experience in data networking. He currently runs all product management and corporate marketing functions and is focused on the design and promotion of optical burst switching transport technology. Previously, Mr. Sloane was director of product management at Extreme Networks, VP of marketing at WebStacks, CTO and head of marketing for the Broadband business unit at Network Equipment Technologies, and director of product marketing at FlowWise Networks.


Dom Stasi (Chairperson)

Mr. Stasi leads an engineering and operations team responsible for distributing more than 3,500 hours of VoD content each month to systems across North America. During his tenure, TVN has introduced several technological innovations such as platform independent VoD and its 2008 Emmy-nominated ADONISS systems. A new media veteran, Mr. Stasi served as director of engineering for HBO during that network's pioneering era of satellite television and was the first vice president and general manager of network operations and design engineering for MTV.

Mr. Storakers is a seasoned telecommunications industry professional specializing in marketing and commercial management. He is currently responsible for commercial product management within Telia's broadband services division. His 10 years of experience with TeliaSonera has included periods as head of product management at Telia Mobile, head of mobile wholesale and third-party content businesses at Telia Mobile, and head of sales and distribution at TeliaSonera HQ.

Kevin Suitor (Chairperson)

Mr. Suitor is widely recognized for his expertise in the telecommunications industry. He is also Redline's delegate for WiMAX and sits on the Marketing Working Group for WiMAX. Mr. Suitor has been actively involved over the years in the ATM Forum and Wireless Communications Association. He has written numerous articles in several industry publications and is a regular speaker on topics such as broadband fixed wireless, 802.16, WiMAX, softswitches, VoIP, ATM, gigabit Ethernet, and virtual private networks.

Floyd Wagoner (Chairperson)

Prior to this, Mr. Wagoner served as director of business development and customer education for Motorola Next Level Communications (NLC). Mr. Wagoner currently chairs the European FTTH Council Market Intelligence Committee.
