- SmartERTM VDSL2 Splitter Filter ModulesThe popular SmartER series of Pulse has expanded to now include 9 references that cover all major xDSL standards. Those high-density splitter filter modules for CO or CPE applications worldwide are as much one third the size of typical designs. Pulse has developed a patented technique which fits more channels in a smaller space. This integration is important for deployments such as VDSL2 where available space is limited.
The SmartER series is RoHS-6 compliant and pin-to-pin compatible: The same board layout can then accommodate different standards or countries by just changing the module.
The compact and cost effective patented technique of the SmartER series is now used on all custom CO splitter boards and modules from Pulse.
- VDSL2 30 MHz compatible CPE filterPulse introduces its Excelsus brand Z-301LS in-line xDSL filter. Small and economical, the Z-301LS is compatible with VDSL2 and can filter frequencies up to 30 megahertz. It improves the performance of DSL and HPN services by filtering all telephone sets, facsimile machines, answering machines, and other phoneline services through a single line while providing optimal voice band performance. It is specifically suited for telephone networks in Asia, Europe, and South America.
Very compact, Z-301LS is half the width of previous designs. It has good intermodulation distortion performance which allows the maximum possible VDSL2 data rates. Its VDSL2 compatibility and ability to handle frequencies up to 30 megahertz make it an excellent filter for new and emerging DSL technologies and markets.
