Web 2.0 introduces user-generated content that has taken the Internet by storm. Communities have grown and evolved to address interests of groups of Web surfers, providing them not only with information, but also with live interaction.
With 3G mobile communication evolving as a medium available and accessible from almost anywhere within the network, 3G mobile devices have become a "personal communicator," allowing people to access services from anywhere, anytime. Recent developments in the field of interactive video communications build on IMS architecture and target mobile and PC users and are creating new virtual communities that provide the freedom to access applications, content, and games from anywhere, and also enable visual communications which enhances the experience, driving interest and usage.
The session will discuss interactive video applications and includes insights as to how they can be utilized for specific events such as the Olympic Games.
