Mr. Ljungberg is responsible for facilitating good conditions for wireless broadband. He has been engaged in Ericsson's WCDMA program since 1999 and has held a number of managerial positions with focus on WCDMA ranging from technical sales to product management and customer programs. When Ericsson's first data communication switching and routing products were designed, Mr. Ljungberg managed a HW and system design department. He holds a degree in engineering physics from Uppsala University in Sweden and Case Western Reserve in the United States.

Stephen Hayes

Mr. Hayes is the chairman of the 3GPP systems group (3GPP-SA). He has been extensively involved in GSM and subsequent systems for the past 10 years. He has been heavily involved in the common IMS work and the development of multimedia capabilities in 3GPP. Mr. Hayes has participated and held various leadership positions in the ATIS committees, including the Wireless Technology and Systems Committee. He received his bachelor's degree from Texas Christian University in 1977 and his master's from the University of Texas at Dallas in 1980. Mr. Hayes resides in Flower Mound, Texas.

Mr. Hu is responsible for the group's telecom network development, information technology planning, and policy setting. Mr. Hu has been assigned as the Asia Pacific director of WiMAX Forum. Before joining China Motion Group in 1993, Mr. Hu worked as a member for a U.S. company's consultant group - Digital Equipment Co. and DEC Asia Technical Consultant Group. He also worked as the chief technical consultant of the Guangzhou Jockey Club. Mr. Hu also worked for the Department of Computer Science and the Computer Center of the Sun Yatsen University (GuangZhou) for 10 years, with his scope of work in research on system networking, information technology, computer application, and research and development center management.

Mr. Lau has more than 20 years of experience in telecommunications products and services development. Before joining the group in 1992, he had held various product development positions in both mobile and fixed network operators in North America and Hong Kong. Mr. Lau was appointed to his present position in October 2001. In this role, he is responsible for developing mobile voice and non-voice new products/services, developing advanced corporate services for corporate customers, and sourcing new technology for new mobile services.

Juergen Schindler

Mr. Schindler is responsible for LTE product strategy, industry representation, and consultation of customers on LTE and I-HSPA business opportunities. From 2004 to 2007 he headed Portfolio Management Radio and was responsible for the Siemens Mobile Network Product Portfolio and Product Strategy for all radio technologies. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Schindler led a department responsible for network engineering, which led Siemens to be able to significantly improve the accuracy of planning and optimization of mobile networks. Before that he headed the 3GPP 3G radio standardization of Siemens for three years.
