Mr. De Waele has been in his current position since August 2004. Prior to this, he was the chief technology officer of Real Software. Mr. De Waele was previously at i2 technologies since 1994, where he was the European services director. During his time there, he was promoted to vice president for consumer goods and retail and moved to the main quarter of i2 technologies in Dallas. Mr. De Waele graduated as a master in economics and computer sciences from the University of Ghent in 1987, where he started his career as scientific researcher in artificial intelligence. He has also worked for Numetrix and Siemens.

Mr. Depuydt has been with the company since 1991 and started his career as senior financial analyst. From 1996 to 1999 he was based in the Alcatel HQ in Paris as senior manager of Trade & Project Finance. Before coming to work for Alcatel, he was assistant chief accountant with Rank Xerox. Mr. Depuydt holds a degree as a commercial engineer of KUL (Catholic University of Leuven), a Master of Financial and Commercial Science with a specialization in accountancy, and a Master of Corporate Tax.

Mr. Hinssen is one of Europe's thought leaders on the impact of technology on our society. He has a focus on the consumer adoption of technology, on the impact of the networked digital society, and on the alignment between business and IT. Mr. Hinssen is currently chairman of Porthus which he co-founded in 1999, and is the managing director of A-cross. He is actively involved as a coach to executives to develop future perspectives and scenarios, and is an active coach to several boards of directors of publicly traded companies on subjects related to technology, internet, and IT.
