Characteristics and Applications of IPTV for Enterprise
C1
Like the traditional voice applications, the IPTV market can be segmented as a mass market with a focus on entertainment and value-added service for end users, an enterprise market with a focus on productivity enhancement such as e-learning for enterprise customers, government sector, and vertical market (e.g., hotel video service for customers). IPTV for enterprise is a new and untapped market that can bring additional revenue to service providers.
Speakers are invited to share their thoughts and discuss characteristic and applications on the IPTV enterprise. How is the security and content managed? What are models to deliver the IPTV services and applications for enterprises such as distance learning, digital signage, surveillance, video conference, and information/notice board? Hosted base versus premise base? Discussion on such questions leads to better understanding of this market segment.
