As a member of the Enhanced Voice Services team since 2006, Mr. Schnorrenberger applies his broad experience in the telecommunications industry to drive new business. In his current role, he is responsible for strategy, proposition, and market development for converged IP solutions and the channel to market in Europe. Mr. Schnorrenberger and his team contributed to the development of the new strategy for GTM Markets to focus on premium wholesale and 21C operator services. Previously, he worked in project management, product management, and marketing for Arcor and Versatel.

Ed Elkin

Mr. Elkin is responsible for marketing the portfolio globally. During his 17-year career with Alcatel-Lucent, Lucent, and AT&T, he has served in various customer-facing technical and marketing positions. Mr. Elkin's telecommunication service began with AT&T Communications, culminating in the FCC's Illinois Number Portability Field Trial. In 1997, he moved to Lucent as a systems engineer for the 5ESS switch, where he supported North American service providers' entrance into next-generation services. He transferred into sales, where he contributed to the early success of IMS. Mr. Elkin holds a B.S.E.E. in electrical engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and an M.S.E.E. from Rutgers University.

Axel Foery

Mr. Foery joined Cisco in 1998 as sales director for service provider and service provider channels in Germany. He then went on to become a sales director for mobile operators in Central Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Since 2004, Mr. Foery has been in the wireline space beginning as sales director Deutsche Telekom and now as Operations Director, service provider for the European market. Mr. Foery began his career at IBM Laboratories in multiprocessor development. He later moved to Deutsche Telekom as a technical leader for international projects. After Deutsche Telekom, Axel went to Philips in their sales organization in the LAN market and later on to Nokia as sales director, Europe for the LAN market.

Mr. Proot took up his current responsibilities in June 2007. Prior to that he was responsible for the product management of Belgacom's voice product portfolio for the Fixed Line Services division. Mr. Proot has been working at Belgacom for 13 years where he started his career in the Technology Management department, gaining experience with technical product management. He joined the Marketing Integration division when it was created and held several functions in the Product Management domain.

Petar Torre
Lead Architect, Telco - Sales and Marketing

Mr. Torre is responsible for end-to-end architectures and implementation projects with major telecoms. He is leading planning and architecture of Intel's managed IT services through telecoms, with current focus is on maintenance of PCs, data and service delivery usage models. Mr. Torre holds M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the University of Zagreb, Croatia.
