Call for Speaker Proposals
Forums Overview
The IEC Communications Forums presented at NXTcomm 2007 form an education-driven conference in which service providers, wireless and wireline carriers, network operators, enterprise end users, content providers, equipment and software vendors, and industry analysts gather to examine the opportunities and challenges raised by the emergence of next-generation information and communications technologies (ICT) services and applications, including both mobile and fixed IP-based network architectures and the technologies that will enable them.

The Forums analyze the business and technology requirements of making convergent, IP communications a reality in today's world on a carrier scale. It examines not only technical challenges, but also content, services, and business considerations that will drive revenue in a new world of competition.

Tellabs is pleased to serve as official program sponsor for the 2007 IEC Communications Forums.

Submitting a Speaker Proposal
Speakers who wish to participate and speak at IEC Communications Forums @ NXTcomm 2007 may visit www.iec.org/events/form_allevents.asp and select the session you wish to submit a proposal for. This will take you to the abstract of the session and provide a button at the bottom of the abstract for submitting a speaking proposal.

As with all IEC conferences, the session chairs make the final decision regarding who will speak on their panels for that particular session. If your proposal is selected, the chairperson will contact you directly to confirm your participation.

Speaking proposals are due to the IEC by Wednesday, February 28, 2007 and should be submitted on-line.

Speaking proposals received early on in the process have a better chance of being selected (please note that this is a supplemental tool for the chairs). IEC speakers attend all IEC sessions for free.

For more information about speaking or any further questions, please contact Pitsa Madoch, director of content development, at pmadoch@iec.org or +1-312-559-4601.
