- 310 Border GatewayThe 310 Border Gateway is an essential component of IMS/TISPAN based Next Gen Networks. No only can the 310 be controlled by Newport's 1460 Border Controller creating an extremely flexible and scalable distributed session border controller, but also it can be controlled by 3rd party Softswitches via an H.248v3 interface.
This architecture allows service providers to mix and match signalling and media elements to achieve the best possible combination for their networks and service plans.
The 310 border Gateway is part of Newport's range of session and media control devices.
