- Etherjack®ADVA Optical Networking's Etherjack-R- provides carriers with an intelligent Ethernet demarcation functionality that is aligned with emerging Ethernet OAM standards for transport, connectivity and services from IEEE, MEF and ITU standards bodies.
Etherjack® demarcation provides a network interface device (NID) function for OAM as well as an Ethernet user network interface (UNI) for advanced VLAN based services. The Etherjack® NID/UNI combination performs a function that is analogous to traditional services smartjack® or CSU/DSU demarcation devices.
Etherjack® Service Assurance (ESA) provides carriers with the ability to measure the four MEF recommended Service Level Agreement (SLA) parameters: availability, delay, jitter and dropped frames. While early Ethernet services were delivered blind carriers can now provide differentiated, value added services for their customers.
- FSP 150The FSP 150 family of Ethernet access products provides devices for Ethernet demarcation, extension and aggregation to support delivery of intelligent Ethernet services both in region and out of region.
Incorporating the latest OAM and advanced Etherjack® demarcation capabilities, the FSP 150 family enables carriers to deliver intelligent Ethernet services that can be remotely monitored and managed with a minimal number of truck rolls. It provides the service intelligence necessary to encourage Enterprise data users make the switch from frame relay, private line and ATM services to a carrier grade Ethernet service.
The FSP 150 enables mass rollout of innovative Ethernet services by removing the complexity and indeterminacy of classical Ethernet switching from the access network
- FSP 3000The FSP 3000 is a scalable Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) system that supports new revenue opportunities such as triple-play, high-speed Ethernet, and SAN services. The platform is highly competitive in DSL backhaul scenarios and has been deployed in several broadband rollout programs across Europe.
The unique optical layer design of the FSP 3000 combines lowest first-in cost with maximum scalability. The system supports in-service CWDM to DWDM migration as well as the hybrid implementation of static and dynamic photonic components including tunable lasers and Remote Optical Add Drop Multiplexers (ROADM).
The transparent fiber-in fiber-out interfaces support all protocols between the range of 8Mbit/s and 40Gbit/s, including Ethernet, SONET/SDH, G.709 OTN, ATM, video, and all common SAN protocols.
