Tomaž Aljaž works at Iskratel, Kranj, Slovenia, as a Product Manager for VoIP products. He received his B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Maribor, Maribor, Slovenia, in 1996, 1999 and 2006 respectively. He has participated in several national and international projects on VoIP field and transition strategies from PSTN to voice packet-based networks. His area of research is the convergence of telecommunications and data networks, with an emphasis on VoIP protocols, Lawful Intercept and transition techniques. He plays an active educational role in the area of computer communication and participates at various conferences. |
