Broadband Mobile Internet: How Will the Internet of Tomorrow Evolve?
14:00 – 15:30 | Tuesday, 27 March
In the telco mobile arena, there are different approaches to mobile Internet: the great traditional mobile operators found their strategy on UMTS technology, while the small operators are turning to the new wireless IP technologies such as mobile WiMAX. Behind the preferred technology, the final aim is to allow the end user to enjoy services and contents in real time and on the move. The emerging questions are, "How will the Internet that we know change with the advent of broadband mobile Internet?" and "How will contents and services evolve, and which will be the business models best suited to support the transformation?"
