Presentation Due Date
Deadline: All speaker PowerPoint presentations are due by 1 May, 2007.
Please note: This is a firm deadline because of production timelines. Presentations that are not submitted by 1 May, 2007, will not be included in the conference proceedings.
Presentations should be sent to Andréa Scrementi at ascrementi@iec.org in PowerPoint format.
Presentation Guidelines
The following are some helpful tips in regard to producing your presentation:
- Presentations are to be noncommercial.
- The IEC does not have a PowerPoint template; feel free to use your own.
- Avoid too much content on one slide, as attendee feedback has voiced negative comments with regard to this.
Day of Presentation
The day of your presentation, please bring your laptop computer, as laptops are not provided in session rooms. We suggest loading all presentations on one laptop for easy transition from one speaker to the next.
Session Format
- The session chairperson will provide introductory comments for approximately five to 10 minutes.
- Speaker presentations should be approximately 10 to 15 minutes in length, depending on the number of speakers.
- Reserve 10 to 15 minutes for questions at the end of the session. Strong feedback has shown this provides great value to attendees.
Registration Procedure: Pre-Show and On-Site
Pre-Show Registration: Chairpersons and speakers should register for Broadband World Forum Asia using a special
speaker's on-line registration form offering a selection of conference packages.
On-Site Registration: Once you arrive at the China World Hotel at China World Trade Center, speakers are asked to check in at an Advance Registration counter to pick up name badges, session tickets, and materials.
