Designed to thwart and identify pirates, Widevine Mensor^TM tracks and identifies content distributed across any network — making it possible to identify when, where and to what consumer device content is distributed. The solution creates a unique fingerprint of an asset, and then embeds invisible watermarks into the content — at multiple points in the video delivery — to indicate where content was last sent, received and viewed. Used with a content security solution, Mensor enables telco, cable, internet, mobile and satellite operators to add forensic watermarking for earlier release windows on premium content. Mensor supports all video format and methods of delivery, including linear broadcast, video-on-demand (VOD), file downloads and streamed media.
