Technologies on Display
  • SURPASS hiX57xx products
The Nokia Siemens Networks GPON solution brings full broadband services on an all-fiber infrastructure to the end-user. It allows for different architectures, such as FTTC / FTTB / FTTH (Fiber to the Curb / Building / Home) as well as hybrid DSL/FTTC scenarios which re-use existing copper assets for CAPEX optimization. This solution allows up to 100 Mbps and beyond to be delivered to each individual end user.

The GPON solution is designed as a flexible very high capacity (150 Gbps) Multi Service Access Node (MSAN) which in addition also provides VDSL2, Ethernet, TDM, POTS/VoIP, and CATV services to the end-users. At the subscriber end a variety of Optical Network Units, such as Single Family Units (SFUs), Single Business Units (SBUs) and Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs) supports any kind of FTTx deployments.

  • SURPASS hiX 56XX
The Nokia Siemens SURPASS hiX 5625/5630/5635 is an innovative platform for access networks. It is a true Ethernet based, Carrier Grade (via redundant Power, Fans, Central Card and uplinks), and secure system. It provides ADSL2+, VDSL2, SHDSL.bis, VoIP, and soon, GPON access technologies via line interface cards. In addition to this flexibility on the Access side the Nokia Siemens SURPASS hiX 5625/ 5630/5635 has the backplane capacity to insure the customer data is transported with no restriction to the next upstream location, thus protecting the investment and offering readiness for future, bandwidth hungry services that await all of us.
  • SURPASS hiD 661x
SURPASS hiD 661x is a family of compact Ethernet switches which provide multiple 10/100/1000 optical/electrical Ethernet interfaces to end users. Operators can chose GEPON or Ethernet uplinks according to their needs and very flexibly deploy active or passive optical networks.
