WiMAX — Financial, Services, Technology Trends for Service Providers
Half-Day Workshop 2

Will the WiMAX community be able to support and help service providers building successful WiMAX strong and realistic business cases?

Only one key factor above any other will be defining the role WiMAX will play in global communications — particularly in its mobile form. This factor is the "service providers adoption." This session aims to provide service providers that desire to enter the WiMAX market with a full toolbox enabling them to evaluate all potential opportunities and risks of WiMAX before investing in the chosen technology.

Financial, services, and technology trends and challenges will be the core of our discussion, including the following:

  • ARPU, what services are selling, and to who
  • Service revenue: How much money you can make as WIMAX operator
  • Subscriber count progression
  • Business versus residential play
  • Which vendor's gear is most deployed worldwide and why
