Social Networking: The Real World Business of Moving Content On-Line
G3

Today more than ever, the world is finding ways to move its operations on-line. From everyday people to SMBs to enterprises, the world is discovering the benefits of working on-line. With this shift, it is important for broadband service providers to realize that they are in an increasingly commoditized business — whether they like it or not — and they need to find new revenue streams with higher margins. The purpose of this panel is to discuss the opportunity for broadband service providers as well as to highlight key benefits of bringing mobile and content providers together. Points of discussion will include the following:

  • Social networking and the market's new "addiction" to direct content
  • How service providers can profit from this trend
  • How providers can stay two steps ahead of the certain and impending threat of giant portals such as Google or MSN moving into their space
  • The advantages your business gains by being an early adopter — in revenue and intangibles
