Merchandising the Broadband Pipe with Subscriber-Centric Policy Management
The basic network — offering voice, basic data services, email and internet — has evolved to include Multi-Media Messaging, Instant Messaging, Gaming, Music Downloads and more, requiring increasingly complicated and expensive data systems. The need for policy management in the network has also evolved to be about much more than bandwidth control. In this session, we'll look at how policy can create an appetite for new IP services, allow service providers to quickly and easily deploy new applications, and enable a compelling quality of experience. Also learn how policy allowed a Tier 1 service provider to successfully launch 20 new applications in one month.
