  • Edgebox
edgeBOX is a unique multi-function network device that combines a range of best-of-breed technologies to deliver an all-in-one voice and data networking solution for SMEs and enterprise branch offices. edgeBOX addresses a growing market opportunity for Telcos and ISPs to deliver value-added managed services to their business broadband customers, increasing per subscriber revenues and providing contract lock-in. The product is currently commercialised in the UK, Brazil, China, Chile, Germany, Spain, South Africa and Portugal. edgeBOX has won multiple awards including in 2007 The Techworld Convergence Product of the Year award, TMC Communications Solutions Product of the Year and the TMC Labs Innovation award. In 2006 edgeBOX won Internet Telephony Product of the year and in 2005 the Infovision Best Broadband Appliance award presented by the IEC.

Product features include a fully featured IP-PBX, VoIP gateway, security services, QoS, internet gateway, email server, web and intranet server, user authentication, authorisation and accounting, storage, WiFi, VPNs and backup, all remotely managed through a single, easy to use, web interface.

A separate application, called iTEMS, is available for large scale edgeBOX CPE deployment. Installed at the service provider's Network Operations Centre, iTEMS provides a way to provision, update, manage, monitor and track multiple edgeBOX units. The combination of edgeBOX and iTEMS provides a complete, end-to-end framework for delivery and management of value added services to business broadband customers.
