- OCTEONTM Single & Dual Core MIPS64TM ProcessorsCavium Networks will be demonstrating a high-performance, triple-play, Broadband Gateway Reference Design based on the OCTEON Single & Dual Core MIPS64 processors. This triple-play reference design is capable of simultaneously supporting 1 Gbps line rate IPv4/v6 forwarding with QoS, NAT, firewall, 802.11n, multiple MoCA devices, NAS web server, management software as well as a variety of other networking applications in a low-power, low-cost design that can easily scale from a 100 Mbps to 1Gbps performance. This design showcases high performance voice, video, and data with hardware accelerated Quality of Service (QoS) and significant processing headroom.
