Alvarion is the largest vendor of equipment for WiMAX networks.
By the end of Q2 this year over 170 commercial fixed WiMAX networks had been built using Alvarion's equipment. And around 220 trials are taking place.
Alvarion's mobile WiMAX equipment is now available and is being used to roll out commercial networks in Taiwan and the US. Over 40 trials are also taking place.

Alvarion's fixed WiMAX equipment has been used to build over 170 commercial networks.
