Mobile Music: Driving Adoption
B1

In this session we will predict what's next for mobile music, describing the technical innovations that enable new services. We will explore how music labels must adopt radical new business models to play in the changing landscape. Some of the inventive programs being rolled out in Europe and North America include "all you can eat" subscription-based music rental services and ad-funded and community services now deployed by the likes of French operator SFR, TELUS in Canada, and Vodafone Spain, respectively. We will address the issue of how operators can develop a strategy that drives mobile music adoption.
