All services over IP represent the next evolution of communications industry transformation, providing carriers and their customers with unprecedented opportunity based on end-to-end IP architectures, services, and business models. This technology-induced industry transformation presents the most fundamental change to the provider business model. Old and new carriers must consider the impact of this new hosted voice model in terms of how they offer, manage, and support voice services. This session will examine how carriers deliver, how customers consume services, and how value propositions are changing.

Mr. Briscoe joined RadiSys in 2006. He was previously founder, president and chief executive officer of Convedia Corporation, the world leader in IP media server products. Prior to Convedia Mr. Briscoe founded Starvision Multimedia a provider of advanced service delivery platforms for ATM and IP networks. Previously at MPR Teltech, he was a key member of the team that created the worlds first commercial ATM switch which was acquired by Newbridge Networks who Mr. Briscoe then worked for to establish as a worldwide leader in ATM. He has also held development and managerial positions in Nortel, BNR, and Bell Canada.

Prior to joining Sylantro, he was vice president of product operations at Latitude Communications, a leading innovator in enterprise conferencing. As one of Latitude's early executives, he was responsible for product development, manufacturing operations, customer support, international product approvals, and distributor channel support. Previously, Mr. Bonee was vice president of engineering at VMX, where he led the development of worldwide messaging platforms and was heavily involved in OEM business development.

Prior to founding Trendium, he was chief technical officer and senior vice president of strategic direction at Racal Data Group, where, with one operating plan and strategy, he successfully consolidated 14 international companies into a single business under the Racal Data Group name.

Mr. Subramanian has about 18 years of experience in the telecom industry and brings with him a global and diverse experience from Telstra, Hewlett-Packard, Alcatel, Tech Mahindra, and other mid-size established and start-up telecom companies. His specialties include product/services planning and business development, OSS/BSS technologies, and telecom networking technologies (i.e., PSTN/VoIP switching, SONET/IP transport, DSL/FTTP access). At Tech Mahindra, Mr. Subramanian is responsible for sales and marketing in the R&D services segment.
