TrendChip Technologies was founded in May, 2001 in Hsinchu, Taiwan. We are the first and only Asian broadband IC design company who successfully delivers ADSL2+ turnkey solution to the market. TrendChip announced its first generation ADSL chipset TC3160 in 2003. Our ADSL2+ chipset - TC3162 was in mass production since 2004. Currently, TC3162 embedded ADSL2+ bridge, router, WiFi gateway devices have been deployed in more than 25 countries worldwide.

TC3162L2/P2 ADSL2+ Chipset
TrendChip Technologies, funded in 2001, is the only Asian ADSL2+ chipset vendor. TrendChip started the ADSL chipset shipment in 2003 and announced its first ADSL2+ chipset in mid-2004. TC3162L2/P2 is its 2nd generation ADSL2+ chipset and is designed by adopting latest ADSL2+ technology for broadband access applications including ADSL bridge/router/WiFi router/IAD. TC3162L2/P2 incorporates high performance network processor and ADSL2+ DMT DSP. It provides necessary interfaces like Ethernet, USB, and mini-PCI for 802.11 a/b/g WiFi. In junction with TrendChip's TC3085 integrated front-end chip, it forms a complete two-chip ADSL2+ solution. By adopting TrendChip's leading LiNOS turnkey software solution, CPE manufacturers can provide a high performance and cost effective broadband device to end users in the shortest development cycle.
