Mr. MacBean joined the Walt Disney Internet Group, where he has held a variety of international responsibilities across commercial, technical, and production disciplines, in 2000. In his present role, Mr. MacBean has general management responsibility for Disney's on-line and interactive TV portfolio in EMEA and Latin America and technology/operations responsibility for Disney's on-line services outside the United States. He is also managing director of Walt Disney Hungary Ltd.
Prior to joining Disney, he worked in major telecoms and Internet organizations, starting in semiconductor optoelectronic device engineering and progressing to software/systems engineering. He became involved in the commercial exploitation of the Internet when it emerged from the scientific community. He has held a series of senior management roles with responsibility for the development, delivery, product management, and distribution of Internet/intranet services, culminating in leadership of BT's eCommerce product division.

Key to all of this is developing relationships with innovative wireless and on-line players as well as ensuring that digital business is integrated into the fabric of Warner Music.

Mr. Richards is a development producer within BBC Factual and Learning's Cross Platform Development Unit. He acts as a consultant on innovative ways to reach audiences through new and emerging technologies, formats, and interactivity. Working as part of the BBC's Interactive TV team, he originated and produced Parenting Video on Demand, providing on-line access to 60 hours of video content editorialized into more than 90 viewer journeys. For four years he was responsible for the BBC's learning applications as part of the KIT/BBC IPTV trial in Hull. During his time with the BBC, he has worked as a producer in digital cable, television, and radio. Before life at the BBC, he worked for an independent cinema company and a series of independent production companies. |

Carl Rijsbrack

Mr. Rijsbrack has 10 years of experience in the telecommunications sector. In his current role, he covers the marketing and communications on applications (i.e., IPTV, residential services, managed business communications) and control solutions (i.e., IMS, NGN, media gateways) from Alcatel for fixed service providers around the world. Most recently, Mr. Rijsbrack was responsible for marketing the Alcatel Service Delivery Environment portfolio. Prior to that, he was involved in the rollout of data networks for Alcatel, including DSL, ATM, and IP.
