Monday Keynote Address
Introduction of IMS in France Telecom Group
13:00 – 13:30 | Monday, 9 October

France Telecom will use the strength of fixed and mobile broadband technology to implement its integrated operator strategy and vision. France Telecom considers IMS the key technology for delivering a control layer on top of broadband networks.

How can IMS be applied in the context of a fixed-mobile strategy? What is the impact on the network architectures and design organization? Does it change the relationship with the supplier? This keynote will summarize how France Telecom sees IMS changing the service offers, but also how IMS has already influenced France Telecom's way of working and provided a fantastic driver for the evolution of the fixed and mobile network architecture. It concludes with the impact of IMS on network organization.
