Differentiated Broadband Services – Beyond P2P Control
15:45 – 17:15 | Tuesday, 10 October
The challenges imposed by point-to-point (P2P) traffic have highlighted the need for service providers to invest in solutions to identify and optimize network traffic. With the increased visibility afforded by these solutions, service providers are now in a position to have unique visibility of existing service offerings and customers' service requirements. Beyond P2P control, the challenge is for service providers to use these facilities to develop differentiated services that will have a big effect on their customers and bottom line.
This session will examine how service control facilities can be used to develop new services and revenue sources for service providers. Case studies will be presented to elaborate on successful approaches to exploiting these improvements, and to elaborate on innovative new service offerings service providers can develop as a result.
