The advent of broadband video services will increase the demand for new content bundles, the real driver for deployment success. Depending on countries and operators, a number of diverse content offerings are already available, but the need for new and unique content bundles will substantially increase in the next few years, with several competing technologies struggling to provide best-in-class services.
The availability and diffusion of broadcast services in several countries is an additional challenge for operators that want to deliver broadband video. In most cases, the coexistence of IP and broadcast is necessary for quality of service and seamless migration to a new generation of interactive video services.
This panel will provide different points of view highlighting the major social, technical, and business requirements of this new challenge.
