Please note: This is a firm deadline due to production time lines. Presentations that are not sent in by May 13, will not be included on the CD-ROM.
Presentations should be sent to Maureen Metzger, at mmetzger@iec.org in PowerPoint format.
- Presentations are to be non-commercial
- We do not have a PowerPoint template; feel free to use your own
- Avoid too much content on one slide, as attendee feedback has voiced negative comments with regard to this
- Bring your laptop computer, as laptops are not provided in the session rooms. We suggest loading all presentations on one laptop for easy transition from one speaker to the next.
- Chairperson to give introductory comments for approximately 5-10 minutes
- Speakers presentations should be around 10-15 minutes depending on the amount of speakers
- Reserve 10-15 minutes for Q&A at end of session, as strong feedback has shown this provides great value to attendees
Please note: Faculty members receive a significantly reduced tuition of $495. We encourage all speakers to take advantage of this offering and stay for the full program.
On-site Registration Procedure: Once you arrive at the McCormick Place, All speakers must stop in at the Speaker Registration area, located in Registration Hall to pick up their name badge, session tickets and materials. Level 1, South Building.
Until May 6, the registration fee for SUPERCOMM is free, after that the fee is $150. However, the IEC has free passes which will waive the registration fee. Contact conference relations at events@iec.org if you need a pass. The pass will provide access to the free programming only, however it will not allow you into the paid IEC programming. You will still need register for IEC @ SUPERCOMM http://www.iec.org/events/2005/supercomm/registration/speaker.html to get your proper IEC credentials.
