
Anton Schaaf

Mr. Schaaf began his professional career in 1981 at Hollandse Signaalapparaten, a subsidiary of Philips N.V., in the Netherlands. He joined Siemens Nederland N.V. in 1987 as head of the sales department for public telecommunications infrastructure. In 1997, he was appointed head of regional sales at the Public Communication Networks division of Siemens AG. He was then named head of the Services and Applications division of the newly formed IC Networks Group in 1999. In January 2001, Mr. Schaaf was appointed as member of the Group Board, and in October 2004 he was named chief technology officer.

Jean-Pierre Lartigue

Prior to joining Alcatel, Mr. Lartigue was a manager at Boston Consulting Group. He has been an active member of the technology and communication practice and involved with worldwide telecom and chipset vendors and with U.S./European telecom operators. Mr. Lartigue has dealt with a variety of issues, such as innovation and new-product development, market-entry strategies and planning, and mergers. He has also been deputy director general within the Vision 1250 group, where he was in charge of major events, engineering, market strategies, worldwide promotion, research and development, and project financing.

William Leighton

Dr. Bill Leighton has over 25 years of telecommunications senior management experience spanning research, engineering, and business unit management. Bill worked at AT&T in a variety of roles over the last 28 years, most recently as vice president of research at AT&T Labs where he led the team responsible for AT&T's core and directed research program. Prior to that, he was the vice president of technology and services strategy at AT&T Labs and ran AT&T's Security Services business unit.
