
Martin Cooper

Mr. Cooper is a pioneer in the wireless communications industry, having conceived the first portable cellular phone in 1973 and leading the 10-year process that brought it to market. Prior to founding ArrayComm, Mr. Cooper spent 29 years with Motorola and co-founded Cellular Business Systems, Inc. He has been granted eight patents in the communications field and has been widely published. Since its founding in 1992, ArrayComm, Inc. has grown from a seed-funded start-up into the world leader in smart antenna technology with 300 patents issued or pending worldwide.

Kazuo Imai
Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Network Laboratories
NTT DoCoMo
Mr. Imai joined NTT Laboratories in 1976 and has been engaged in various R&D activities including digital data exchange systems design, ISDN user-network interface definition, broadband switching and access systems research, and implementation of a network services platform for NTT's information sharing services. He also served as Vice President of NTT America, Inc. from 1994 to 1998. Since April 2000, Mr. Imai has been with NTT DoCoMo to lead new generation networking research for mobile and ubiquitous communications.

Rudy Leser

Alvarion
Mr. Leser served as vice president of business development at Floware Wireless Systems Ltd. from 2000 to 2001, until the merger of Floware and BreezCOM to what is now Alvarion Ltd. He assumed his present position at Alvarion in the beginning of 2002. Since the mid-1990s, Mr. Leser has been an active part of the development of the broadband industry by serving in several management positions. He served as the strategic marketing director at Metalink Broadband Access Ltd. from 1996 to 2000.

Sachio Semmoto
Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
eAccess
Dr. Semmoto founded eAccess Ltd in 1999. Prior to eAccess, he spent 30 years in senior management positions at NTT, Kyocera, and DDI Corporation, which he co-founded as an executive vice president in 1984. At NTT, he developed the first optical fiber system in Japan and led the development of the Information Network System, the world's first digital service that embodied the ISDN concept. He was also Japan's official representative to the ITU on optical fiber and ISDN (1974-1980). Dr. Semmoto left NTT as a general manager to join Kyocera Corporation as a managing director to co-found DDI, the first private interexchange carrier.
