Mr. Yamada had held his current position since June 2004 and is responsible for managing all the technical issues for whole the NTT group. He joined NTT in 1973 and started his career in the management of the network planning and provisioning. After the re-organization of NTT in 1999, as senior vice president, executive manager of the Plant Planning Department of NTT West, he was responsible for supervising network plan and provision in the western part of Japan.
