
Christian Unterberger

Mr. Unterberger is responsible for profit and loss for the worldwide carrier market at Siemens AG. He joined Siemens AG in 1987 after completing his degree in electrical engineering. From 1996 to 2001, he focused his efforts on the Asian market, advancing to become head of Asia-Pacific sales for ICN's transport networks. He concluded that stage of his career with two years as the head of the ICN and ICM divisions for Siemens Singapore, Brunei, and Vietnam. In 2001, Mr. Unterberger returned to ICN in Munich, Germany, where he headed up Wireline Network Carrier Switching, then oversaw ICN's Carrier Networks Europe and South Africa, and finally headed ICN's Carrier Networks before assuming his present position.

Dr. Edmon leads the group responsible for all broadband access solutions, including all the flavors of DSL used for consumer and business services, all access fiber technologies, and systems built on those physical layers. Dr. Edmon has been with SBC since 1994 in various capacities and was heavily involved in the early stages of DSL. He has been a key SBC management member of standards groups such as FSAN and FS-VDSL and has responsibility for SMEs at The DSL Forum, T1E1, and other organizations.

Yasuhiko Ito

KDDI
Dr. Ito is responsible for the entire engineering organization of KDDI. After joining KDD in 1971, he worked in the company's R&D Laboratories and was engaged in research activities related to satellite communications and network planning. In 2000, after the merger of DDI, IDO, and KDD, Dr. Ito served as a managing director of the new company KDDI, where he was in charge of the Engineering division of the Mobile Business sector. He also contributed as chief operating officer of the Solution Business sector from 2002 to 2004.

Tetsuo Koga

Mr. Koga joined NTT Public Corporation in 1971, after receiving his B.A. in political science and economics from Waseda University. In 1995, he became executive manager of the operator service department at NTT. From 1999 to 2001, he was executive manager of the marketing and support department at NTT East. In 2001, he served as senior vice president and executive manager of the marketing and support department. Mr. Koga was appointed to his current role in 2002.
