VoIP over Broadband: Challenges and Opportunities
Wednesday, 1 June | 10:45 - 12:00
IP voice over broadband is threatening the lifeblood of telecom service providers. As this destabilizing technology continues to be adopted, important issues must be addressed: Will VoIP significantly erode the traditional business model for voice? If so, how can broadband service providers adapt? What are the market opportunities afforded by VoIP, and how can carriers take advantage of these? What have carriers learned so far on this front? This panel will feature the insights of a leading analyst, a service provider, and a vendor in addressing these important issues.
