UTEL are a world player in the supply of specialist Test Access solutions For Broadband installations. UTEL have a wide range of standard Test Access Switch products and can also provide highly cost effective bespoke Test Access solutions for any application.

UTEL will be introducing a new product the UTEL BlockTAM which has been designed to fit as both a direct replacement for existing Porta Jacks Test (Series 44-47 and certain blocks within its 508 range. With adaptator brackets the UTEL Block TAM can fit most Distribution Frames. Its design incorporates a 100 line TASM (Test Access Switch Module), a Porta block and lightening protectors all in one unit. The UTEL BlockTAM is designed for ease of installation and use whilst offering a highly cost effective end user solution. UTEL will be introducing the latest addition to their Test Access Switch Module (TASM) range. The F256 TASM is designed to increase the line count capability of an individual TASM from 100 to 256 lines. The physical size has also been reduced resulting in the total line count available in a standard UTEL ETSI rack using individual F256 TASM increasing to 4096 lines. Use of the F256 will reduce both the space required to install the racking in the exchange and also the total number of racks.
