Technologies on Display

Operax Bandwidth Manager
Operax Bandwidth Manager is a leading multi-service network resource control (NRC) system that enables guaranteed end-to-end QoS for any service in IP/MPLS networks. It provides intelligent application-driven admission control to access, metro, and core networks. Admission decisions are based on bandwidth availability and service policies. Bandwidth requests can be accommodated on a per session basis via application frameworks or in aggregate through, for example, customer VPN portals, making the system very useful for a variety of services. Network resources are automatically activated through configuration of edge routers or access gateways. The system also supports operational requirements such as billing and monitoring.

Operax Triple Play
Operax Triple Play is a service control system that enables broadband operators to meet market requirements on new value-added services with guaranteed QoS. It provides intelligent per session admission control in access and core networks based on bandwidth availability and service policies. Automated service activation, as well as means for billing and monitoring is also provided. When a subscriber accesses a service by, say, placing a phone call, a service request is initiated and sent via a service platform - for example, a softswitch - to the service control system. The service control system checks that the subscriber has appropriate service credentials and that bandwidth is available in both the access and core networks.
