PacketLogic
PacketLogic is a complete Traffic Management and Service Provisioning System designed for mission critical IP networks, i.e. broadband networks. PacketLogic consist of five modules: Surveillance (real-time traffic monitoring), Statistics (traffic analyzing), Firewall (filtering), Traffic Shaping (rate limiting and prioritization) and NetAccess (Service Provisioning). All modules utilize the totally port independent Layer 7 identification (DRDL). PacketLogic is a transparent Layer 2 device - packet repeater - that does not distort any traffic. This also gives great benefits like minimum latency, maximum capacity, easy installation and highest possible security - cannot be seen by the end-user. PacketLogic supports all the important industry standards, like BGP, 802.1Q (VLAN management), PPPoE, DiffServ, and is managed by an administration client (Windows/Linux) and/or a Python API.
