This session will examine the very different challenges associated with and the solutions required for the following:
Chairperson Jim Hourihan, Vice President, Marketing and Product Management, Acme Packet, brings to Acme Packet 20 years of experience in executive management, marketing, business-development, and product-management roles at IP networking, VoIP, Web infrastructure, and computer companies. He was the vice president of marketing for internetworking leader Wellfleet and, after its merger with Synoptics, at Bay Networks (now Nortel Networks) for nearly seven years. Speakers Jim Hourihan, Vice President, Marketing and Product Management, Acme Packet Jeffrey Aaron, Network Architect, Network Security Specialist, BellSouth, coordinates security needs and activities across S&T and has consulted as needed on a variety of S&T projects and initiatives, both responding to requests as well as instigating related actions where appropriate. Eric Nielsen, Chief Technical Strategist, Sylantro Systems, provides direction for implementing security, network, and other architectural issues. He came to Sylantro from Sprint Technology Planning and Integration, where he was chief services architect. |
